Wow. Prayer started at 6pm yesterday, I spent the hours between 2am and 7am in the prayer room, it felt like 10 minutes. There is nothing like time in Gods presence.

The thing that stands out is the idea that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. That needs to be our starting point.

yes, prayer works... so why don't I do it more often?!
I know we can talk to God anytime, any place, but there's something special about spending time in the prayer room. Just yourself and God, no distractions, amazing. Only problem is..the time goes far too quickly.
I was really challenged by reading the first chapter in Brother Andrew's book "Prayer Works". I've finished reading it this morning, and am really wanting to know God better though prayer. At my age I've still got a lot to learn!
